CMA have not posted on their social media pages since 13-14 December 2020. And no newsletter sent since December 19. An unusually long period of silence giving an impression of abandonment similiar to 30 June – 16 July 2020.
No seasonal posts as in previous years on December 25, 31 and January 1:
No events are scheduled virtual or otherwise, besides the Global Repair daily video replay on twitch. A wearisome 1-hour edit of “karmic repairs” and a 2010 teleseminar clip, to little attention. More on this below.
But nothing suggests abandonment more than the presence of a striking comment on CMA’s most recent Instagram post:
The “CULT” comment was made on December 28. I’d expect CMA to delete it upon sight but it remains today, January 5. Which is surprising bearing in mind CMA’s unconvincing assertions they’re not a cult. A rare example of a negative comment on CMA’s social media. How much longer will it remain now I’ve posted about it? Let’s see.
24 February 2021 update: after approximately 8-9 weeks the comment has now gone.
However, CMA have made one social media update worth discussing. Their Global Repair twitch channel is no longer @globalrepair but @lovegodslove. No explanation is given for this change. It has just 15 followers whereas @globalrepair has 107.
Unlike the old twitch channel, @lovegodslove states its CMA association, uses a CMA graphic and links to masterangels.org and CMA’s YouTube:
Santa Fe, 10 February 2018
The phrase “Love God’s Love” is not new. It first appeared on their social media 27 February 2018 promoting a $125 workshop video:
“During this groundbreaking event in Santa Fe on February 10th, 2018, Master John Douglas distributed some of the highest blessings ever given at a workshop. He explained that at some point in our many incarnations, we reach a nirvana moment where no further progress can be made until we love God’s love. He proceeded to create this effect in everyone who was in the room and on the live teleconference of the event. Within minutes, world consciousness shifted and changed for the better, and the Elite graduates in the room were able to scan the truth of that impact.”
The 2020 coronavirus pandemic had an undeniable impact on CMA & MJD’s plans. Most obviously, their in-person seminars and workshops couldn’t go ahead on the USA “Infinite Bliss tour”, becoming virtual teleseminars instead.
Note all the events above are audio-only teleseminars, not just the first one which isn’t virtually tied to a city. Personally I’ve never listened to a non-free teleseminar because they cost $250. I can’t say what, if any, differences there are between the dates. Do you know? I expect all the teleseminars are precorded just like the free ones are although they are promoted as being MJD “live from Sydney”.
The Silver Pass price is $2750, put on sale before individual event passes. CMA wrote on Facebook: “Attending the entire tour provides the participant with unprecedented bliss, karmic mitigation and life path enhancement.”
I find listening to one CMA teleseminar hard enough, nevermind 12 and paying for them too.
An important exception to the online events has been the Elite Development Course weekends in Heavenly Mountain, North Carolina with attendees arriving from around the country.
I haven’t looked into what pandemic restrictions were active for North Carolina during September but on Facebook there was a small mention of “Covid capacity limits”:
The most important thing to note is the news MJD will attend in person. Apparently he received special permission to travel from Australia to USA. I’ve seen no photographic evidence (or indeed any evidence) of his visit this year. Photos of MJD and CMA events have always been few and far between, presumably phones and cameras are almost always banned during seminars and courses.
“He was released from Australia to come to the US for the Elite courses in September. It was a miracle he was let out of Australia … he spent 3 weeks with us in Heavenly Mountain.
[On return to Australia] he was picked up by the Army and put into quarantine in a government-run hotel lockdown for 14 days, with limited food, in one room … not even a window that opened for fresh air.
During that time Master John healed literally thousands of people … we send him these Silent Faith Remotes, these Karmic Mitigation Blessings … I don’t know when he sleeps.
If you attended a September 2020 Elite course and actually saw MJD, or have any details about them, do let me know. Comment or use the Contact form, you can be totally anonymous.
Besides the above discussion, I’m curious how else COVID-19 has affected CMA/MJD. I get the feeling it’s more than they’re letting on.
I say that chiefly because CMA social media accounts went silent between June 29th and July 16th with no reason given. Extremely unusual.
I began to wonder if, for some reason, CMA was over. Were CMA running scared in the face of coronavirus?
It received no reply. To me, it was really starting to look like CMA was over. Or had their social media person simply gone on vacation?
Either way, that comment shows I wasn’t the only one to start wondering what was happening. On Facebook there were surprisingly no similiar comments.
Where was MJD when his followers needed him the most in the middle of a global virus pandemic?
I can only speculate at this stage.
Did the pandemic finally show up MJD’s powerlessness to kill viruses? Did MJD believers have difficult questions about his ability to cure COVID-19? How many of his followers pleaded with him for a cure? How could MJD – the man “famed” for killing viruses both known and unknown – happily co-exist in a world brought to its knees by a new coronavirus?
If anyone out there has insights on this social media silence, please comment or contact me.
By the second week of July with still no updates, I began to speculate if MJD or Hartnett had even died, perhaps of COVID-19. I could’ve emailed them to ask. However, on Jul 17th CMA social media became active again, promoting their new Global Repair project and brand, with no explanation given for the silence.
Global Repair was presented as a generic “help bless the world” campaign via 18 minute audio YouTube streams. “Together we can help Universal Love go viral”; “Enough is enough. Feel like you want to end the crazinesss?” were clearly a reaction to coronavirus. Later it was more overtly presented as coronavirus related:
I feel a change of some kind occured within CMA during this period, linked to the pandemic. A significant bump in the road not merely a result of gatherings/travel restrictions for COVID-19? Perhaps a significant person in CMA’s hierarchy did contract coronavirus and MJD was unable to help? It’s a moot question though: of course he was unable to help.
Or did MJD indeed contract COVID-19? I expect he’s in an “increased risk” category. Was he close to succumbing? If he did, he would lose all his believers in a heartbeat and CMA would be no more.
By October, Hartnett and MJD were back in action. Listening to the October 30 teleseminar, I was amused MJD was coughing more often than previous teleseminars. But besides that, everything seemed normal.
Leaving speculation aside now, let’s go back to March and see what insights MJD has about COVID-19.
“The man who can kill a virus reveals the truth about Covid-19”. But this “truth” turns out to be some of the most absurd nonsense I’ve ever heard him say.
He starts with a well-worn annoyance of his: there’s too much conflicting information, statistics and experts you don’t know what to trust.
“The interesting thing to understand about this pandemic (cough) … so much conflicting information, everybody’s an expert. All kinds of figures and claims being made, I’m not gonna try spend too much time statistically on what’s going on.
Just a rough outline of what I know to be the truth and what I can see with this virus.
When I first was alerted to this outbreak in China I zoomed into a person that was there and I looked in their body and lungs with my ability and what I saw was something very very nasty, very awful, something I had seen many times in other forms.
Literally this coronavirus or COVID-19 the first wave that occurred in China had people literally old and young passing away very quickly… very savage, powerful.
In the way of the pathogen it’s what we call – and what hasn’t been discovered yet – it’s what we call a Multiple Viral Cell. These sorts of cells were discovered by me probably 12 years ago, where the actual main virus carries many other secondary infections.
Viral pneumonia could be one, and immune killing virus could be another, a t-cell destroying protein could be another one. A blood infection could be another one. A gastrointestinal virus could be another one. It’s always shape-shifting and very hard for them to pin it down … destroying everything and literally asphyxiating these people (cough) destroying their lungs totally.
… they couldn’t figure out where these infections came from. I’ll tell you where they came from: the initial outbreak of the Multiple Viral Cell. Something the doctors have no idea about. It’s gonna be very hard to vaccinate against a Multiple Viral Cell.”
Google gives zero results for “Multiple Viral Cell”. How inconsiderate of MJD to “discover” 12 years ago such a significant thing and not share it even with his “esteemed medical board” so they could research it for benefit of humanity in “peer-reviewed journals”, like his “miracles” have been.
Sidenote: there are no transcripts of MJD’s speeches and seminars on the Internet that I can find. This blog I expect is the only site to quote him at all outside CMA-endorsed people.
“That particular virus was contained, it doesn’t exist any more as far as I can see in all the investigation I’m doing. Some major merciful act occurred.
What that first virus seemed to have done was it literally spat its RNA genetic code into a milder coronavirus type of influenza that was around. Then this thing took the characteristics of the first virus, … so this thing is the second wave spreading around the world.
There are many reports of people, if you just look them up (cough), who have tested positive for coronavirus are sick for 4-5 days then it’s all over. Their body fought it off.
But that first wave when people were literally dropping dead, people seeing dead people in the corridor, that doesn’t seem to be occuring anymore.”
Next he indulges in some conspiracy theory about testing.
“Many of the tests are varying in accuracy so we’re getting false positives and negatives which can spread this virus.
One of the interesting things – and this is to be believed or not – but there’s never been such a hysteric and panicked response in our lifetime. And one reason I can tell you is the world leaders and the World Health Organization and all of the main people in the world, the presidents and so on, what they’re not revealing is they all know this testing is inadequate.
One of the main reasons for the escalation of measures is that they know from the beginning the tests are inaccurate …
How off-brand for the deliverer of “divine truth” able to “destroy a million untruths” and who’s seen “proof of God”! Now reduced to relating a political conspiracy “to be believed or not”! Not to mention the unnamed “many reports” mentioned previously. I wonder where he’s getting his information, not from the Master Angels this time it appears. To be clear, the Master Angels don’t exist and have never existed.
He criticizes treatment of patients:
Antiviral medication is very toxic, they won’t tell you that but it is.
I’ve seen many cases of people being literally poisoned by the antiviral that’s been overloaded in their system… respirators on the highest pressure setting.
Many times in my life I’ve seen people sustain brain damage or death by overdose of antivirals.
MJD definitely fancies himself as one of the “experts” he was dismissing earlier doesn’t he. Do you think he was rejected by a medical school when he was younger?
“World events happen for many many convergent reasons of natural law.
I don’t want to say I told you so but I was speaking about the last two years and assessing the frequency of the world and minds and emotions, and the behaviour you see if you tap into the online world and the attitudes of people, socially, politically, emotionally, and so on that we’ve literally gone (cough) into a zone where people were shortcircuiting their positivity by their selfish, immoral and dangerous behavior and attitude. We were at a point where everybody wanted to inflict some divisive belief onto you, everything was divisive, libellous, intense, everybody was wrong except you, selfish agenda inflicted onto everybody else, no honour amongst the media of the world … rapidly declining worthiness of the collective consciousness. We watched it happen, in my inner circle I said there’s one thing that happens to reset all this, and it’s some sort of cataclysm or a disaster comes along and brings everyone together.
Here MJD says COVID-19 was caused by the moral decline of humanity as exemplified by arguments on the Internet. This is consistent with his karmic belief that people’s negative reactions are the cause of future bad events. He’s retrofitted his philosophy to imply he predicted COVID-19.
Do you think MJD spends a lot of time on the Internet? I get the impression he does.
28 Mar 2020 teleseminar
I should point out at the beginning of 28 Mar 2020 seminar, we are pointedly read a legal disclaimer which only confirms MJD was speaking complete rubbish in the previous teleseminar:
If you’ve been exposed to COVID-19 or have symptoms, please get medical care. Follow medical advice, stay at home, wash hands … Speakers are not doctors and don’t practice medicine. … Statements not approved by Food and Drug Administration, healing is faith based … MJD emphasises “time and again” that divine blessings work with best medical practices.
Jeffrey Wagner, 28 Mar 2020 teleseminar
MJD later gives lip-service to a similiar disclaimer, just before talking about how the information age makes it easy to manipulate people to believe lies:
“I’m not advising anybody, if you need medical help, seek medical help but the further I look into the truth of this matter the more it’s quite disturbing whats happening.
The world today is easily triggered in a different direction. If you repeat a lie often enough people will believe it. If you give a reason often enough that reason will be accepted…
All kinds of things are possible in this information age … The opinion of people can be easily manipulated.
In the old days, it took advertisements, newspapers, TV, trusted personalities to tell us. Now you have this absolute explosive diarrhea of millions of sources of information and enough can stick and we can go into a snowballing conflagration of whatever it may be.
Something MJD has extensive practical experience in. Um, manipulating opinions I mean. Not explosive diarrhea and snowballing.
Next we have more analysis by MJD of COVID-19 :
“What I have found with this virus is it carries viral pneumonia, and also “nano nematodes” which they haven’t seen and which attack the heart, lungs and liver.
So you have a viral carrier carrying nematodes and viral pneumonia which is dangerous, hard to detect and understand.
Nematodes are a kind of microscopic worm. Needless to say, there is zero evidence coronavirus has anything to do with these worms, it’s science fiction.
MJD then reads a long transcription of a German interview with Dr Claus Köhnlein which criticizes coronavirus tests and an immunosuppressant/antibiotic treatment published in The Lancet. This is the video with captions:
“I’m just a lay person, but I can observe nature. There is no way you can survive viral pneumonia with this level of immune-blocking, immune-destroying and toxicity. And none of these things destroy the virus. All around the world doctors are choosing what to do based on this kind of literature.”
Essentially MJD belives the treatment is killing the patients and he found this video which agrees with him.
“It’s just eye-opening and something to have presented to you. I have my own observations and the one person I looked at that passed away who I thought shouldn’t have, had antiviral poisoning in their body
So this sort of thing can happen. I can’t imagine any doctor talking to me right now and giving some kind of logical scientific explanation why give immunosuppressant drugs for a viral infection.
… I don’t understand why this is happening. Something’s very out of whack…
Yes something’s very wacky indeed. Remember MJD is supposed to be tight with the “Lords of Karma”, his friendship group is the “Master Angels”, he’s performed 50,000 “miracles” and can detect and kill unknown microbes with his mind, but here the best he can give us is “something’s very out of whack.”
Before the end of the teleseminar, MJD returns to his previous idea of general negativity causing bad events like coronavirus:
“If you go back to what I mentioned about downvoting someone’s video before you even watch it, that little tip of the iceberg is the reason a lot of this is happening.
As I mentioned last week… the state of politics, society, debate, media, country, the world, social media trends and tendencies.
I said nature simply brings forth a catastrophe when it’s required to blow away all kind of things and negativities.
MJD is annoyed his videos get downvoted and it’s caused COVID-19 to come and kill us all.
30 October 2020 teleseminar
(This is the teleseminar where MJD is coughing more frequently.)
Only one significant mention of coronavirus this time. In his answer to a question from a follower, MJD states the Silent Faith Remote product is able to kill COVID-19, then repeats the nonsense from before about parasitic worms within a “multiple cell virus”. He says vaccines will be ineffective, then ends on a very vague remark.
“Dear John, I’m soon to leave New Zealand which is free of COVID-19 for India, can one order a Silent Faith Remote to prevent one contracting over a long period of time? If one develops symptons or tests positive, can a Silent Faith Remote eradicate the virus?
Yes to the second question … definitely Silent Faith Remote is able to have that eradicated.
Coronavirus… is a Multiple Cell Virus not yet discovered by science. It carries certain protein lifeforms which attack liver, kidneys, heart, lungs.
We’ve performed many blessings to have it eradicated and a Silent Faith Remote works absolutely …
I’m not optimistic about vaccines being able to work … it’s not the virus doing the damage it’s the secondary lifeform this virus is carrying which have not been discovered. Which explains why certain parasitic medication has helped people recover. A mutation of a lifeform called a prion into a wormlike creature… nematodes. It’s this prion causing the problems.
That’s how much we know about coronavirus. Certainly a complicated virus but there will be a solution soon.
To end, I want to briefly mention a recent comment on Reddit in a rare critical discussion about CMA. As I expected, CMA and MJD have given their followers the impression his tools not only eradicate COVID-19 but also prevent it:
“I guess I am just skeptical of some man being able to do these things and all of the quirky things and habits that my family has picked up since they’ve started it … Thinking they are protected from covid-19 bc of master John douglas and their higher vibrations”
Welcome to my blog of personal, independent research and criticism of the “Church of the Master Angels” and its spiritual head “Master John Douglas” AKA “Supreme Grand Master John Douglas”, the man who professes superhuman abilities of remote sensing and healing by communing with angels.
I’ve decided to begin sharing what I’ve found because there’s a lack of information and opinions about CMA except what’s put out by themselves and their followers. I hope those who find themselves entering CMA/MJD’s orbit will search, find this blog and come away with eyes wider open.
Much of this introduction will be fleshed out in subsequent posts.
A unitary, non-denominational, faith-based community Church open to all seekers of truth, cosmic awareness and soul-realization, regardless of belief, tradition, creed, or religious affiliation that promotes the selfless worship of God through the teaching of God’s Masters, Angels, and Holy Saints.
The Church, outside of its frequent congregational meetings and services, offers unique tools, products, global healing workshops and seminars throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Australia. The congregational membership of the Church has now expanded to over 25 additional countries throughout the world.
Of John Douglas we are told:
“Born in Australia, in 1971, to a family with a history of several generations of spiritual healers. John is known throughout the world as a consummate Master Healer and gifted clairvoyant with extraordinary telepathic abilities. At the age of nine, John received a complete clairvoyant activation, allowing full vision of the energetic or spiritual dimension. Higher faculties of remote scanning or sensing of the energetic realm or quantum level is also a feature of John’s holistic ability, allowing him to measure and identify various energetic frequencies within the body and surrounding spiritual realms.”
None of the above is verifiable.
I do know he has operated since at least 2006, when he wrote his one and only blog post: “I have traveled extensively to work on wealthy industrialists, heads of state, eccentric billionaires, royalty, businesspeople, working people, animals and children”.
I’ve found no evidence of this or any MJD history prior to 2006. In 2017, his Spirit Repair brand transitioned to the newly incorporated Church of the Master Angels.
A charlatan (also called a swindler or mountebank) is a person practising quackery or some similar confidence trick or deception in order to obtain money, fame or other advantages via some form of pretense or deception. Resorting to quackery, pseudoscience, or some knowingly employed bogus means of impressing people in order to swindle his victims by selling them worthless nostrums and similar goods or services that will not deliver on the promises made for them. In reported spiritual communications, a charlatan is a person who fakes evidence that a spirit is “making contact” with the medium and seekers.
MJD is enabled and supported by his worshipful cult with headquarters in a gaudy ‘chapel’ nestled in the picturesque North Carolina mountains near the town of Boone, specifically in a private gated community named Heavenly Mountain.
The Heavenly Mountain development was built using principles of Maharishi Vastu Architecture laid out by the Indian transcendental meditation guru Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Such design is said to aid the occupants in connecting to a universal cosmic intelligence.
Not every follower gets to visit the Boone chapel. Visiting is a special, infrequent event. In the centre courtyard there is a pedestal on which a supersized crystal is lit by artifical lighting of different colors. Awe-struck visitors touch and hug the crystal as if conducting pure angelic energy into their minds.
MJD’s wingman, salesman and principle advocate is Heavenly Mountain resident and CMA co-founder Dr Christopher Hartnett. Hartnett was a keen follower of transcendental meditation and once bought a house in the Netherlands to live next door to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, he says.
In the 1990s Hartnett ran businesses such as Global Online and USA Global Link (sometimes called Global Link USA) in the burgeoning areas of Internet Telephony and domain name reselling. Hartnett says he met MJD in 2008 by travelling the world looking for healers to cure his debilitating medical problems. Apparently MJD was the only healer who was actually successful, judged by a team of doctors assembled by Hartnett. This is all part of CMA lore.
MJD and Hartnett like talking. Interminably. Hartnett in particular goes off on long tangents and is a frequent namedropper: never missing a chance to mention someone he’s met (or hasn’t) or relate stories from his business days.
For a supposedly well-travelled and world-renowned healer, there is a curious lack of evidence placing him anywhere besides the USA. As an example, I’m yet to find evidence of a single Australian event he’s ever held.
The earliest quoted Spirit Repair testimonials are overwhelmingly in places such as Fairfield, Iowa and Chicago, Illinois.
Fairfield is significant because it’s home to a large number of transcendental meditation adherents and it is within that community John organized workshops and group healing events years before CMA began and subsequently in CMA’s earliest days. But there’s no mention of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi or transcendental meditation on CMA’s website or materials.
Chicago is significant because it is where Hartnett worked as a commodities broker and owned a gemstone investment company. Chicago is also the home of the Global SELF Foundation which is the recipient organization of $10,000 “donations” by devotees wanting to join CMA’s coveted Elite Development Course.
MJD is described as if he is independent from CMA. Their legal disclaimers are keen to separate the two, but really they are two sides of the same coin. CMA say “Master John Douglas is a frequent speaker and lecturer for the Global SELF Foundation; The Church of the Master Angels and CMA International and its related affiliates.” But actually MJD is their only speaker and lecturer, leaving aside Hartnett in his role as MJD’s warm-up man.
MJD is a man of many words, albeit interminable streams of mumbo jumbo, jargon and monotonous verbiage. He is not a man to only say something once, or use one word instead of three. I’ve noticed some of his favorite words are “literally”, “developmental” and “aggregate”. In his manner he comes across as meek, gentle and restrained. But a careful listener will realise he has a sharp mind honed for offering false assurances, dogma and pseudo-intellectualism. Convincing susceptible listeners he is the holder of sacred, secret knowledge. His mind, words, even his silence supposedly capable of tuning into an otherworldly realm of “Master Angels” and thereby channeling their blessings to us Earth-bound mortals.
“We have seminars where we perform healing blessings … everything from the physical level to spiritual level, the mind and emotions. A very powerful way to change your psychology and to remodel your thinking and action and behavior.
… not only do you get a shiny new body when your infection is cured, we have ways to interact with nature and the Creator in the most favorable way.
The ultimate development is that I’m able to instill and train you with capability to verify frequency and matter and truth in any particle. And this be the very powerful secret given to the Earth, it’s not for everybody.
Then you have a way of deciphering truth in your life… is that book wrong? Is that person’s opinion universally true or wrong? What is in this supplement? Is it tainted with iron or lead or is it pure? Every matter through its frequency can be discerned and we can engineer any investigation to show you what literally is the truth of matter… which is not spirituality, it’s not science, there is only one truth of matter that contains both…
We are told he is world-renowned and has an esteemed reputation for his powers. If you haven’t heard of him perhaps the “Lords Of Karma” haven’t judged you as deserving of his knowledge, or likely your friendship group has zero CMA members. And such a pity John is so camera shy, photos and videos are few and far between. Plus his online teleseminars are frequently, indeed I suspect always, audio only.
Something MJD says he can’t do? Remove skintags. He seems to mainly operate on things that can’t be seen with the naked eye. It makes no sense. But of course, something like skintags or broken bones are too easy for the sufferer to know he hasn’t cured it. But anything inside the body like cancer, lyme disease or an invisible micro-organism no-one knows exists? MJD is your guy.
“This is not some cult thing. John is the humblest person I’ve ever met. He is the perfect person”
Hartnett, 28 March 2020 teleseminar
He has a dislike for science, medicine and technology except when it suits him. He feels his arcane knowledge and superpowers are superior to actual science, looking down on doctors for their ignorance of the true nature of reality as he perceives it. And yet MJD doesn’t seek to share his “skills” with the medical community so they could study and learn. But the CMA “medical board” that verify miracles? All apparently medical doctors, though the only doctor ever named is Dr Richard Sarnat, an Elite graduate. This is no independent review board. It’s as bogus as the “peer reviewed” articles Sarnat has published.
His is a world of “Karmic Mitigation Blessings” (KMBs), “Silent Faith Remote Healings” (SFRs) and a catalog of meditation CDs/mp3s ranging from “Prismatic Awareness” to “Astrological Repair”, each as powerless as the other. All these products are available for anyone to purchase on the CMA website. Purchasers of selected mp3s are encouraged to play them in a loop 24/7.
Notably these aren’t cheap purchases either. You could buy the entire Beatles back catalog for the price of one of these; and get more spiritual comfort too.
Let’s take a look at one of CMA’s core products: “Silent Faith Remote Healing”, a kind of prayer. A modern answer to the Catholic Church selling indulgences to absolve of sin and spiritual debt.
The description tells us SFRs are a generous gift from the Master Angels to believers, available 24/7 without needing to attend a workshop or teleseminar. Priced $250 a go, these SFRs must be some pretty powerful and rewarding stuff, right?
But of course, they aren’t. It stretches the bounds of credibility to say these SFR “products” have any effect whatsoever, or that anything happens at all upon their purchase. A sales order is created, money taken from purchaser, and that is surely it.
The Silent Faith Remote Healing Directed Prayers are faith-based and done on the level of silence. Once requested, the work is done by God and the Masters Angels on the subtle silent levels. There is no written or verbal interaction during or after these remote healing directed prayers.
The Silent Faith Remote Healing Directed Prayers can be ordered through this website and can be used for remediation and mitigation of a health challenge or a specific situation that is in need of Divine attention or support.
“Done on the level of silence”? I.e. you fill in the online form, pay $250 and nothing happens except you’ve sent $250 to CMA’s coffers. This ‘product’ is of the most lazy, unethical kind imaginable. We are told a SFR is for:
start of new projects
any aspect of your life or that of your loved ones where special attention from the realm of the Divine and the Master Angels is desired or required to mitigate or bless those involved
But buyer beware, you have no recourse of complaint if things still don’t go your way:
When it comes to the process of blessings from God, the Master Angels, and Divine intervention, the outcome is always unpredictable and is deeply intertwined with the depth of one’s Karma, the severity of the problem, and the deservingness of the recipient. Since these factors are completely variable with every situation and every individual, there can be no guarantees of any specific outcome from Faith-based Silent Remote Healing Directed Prayers.
“Karmic Mitigation Blessings” are the same $250 concept in different words:
Reduce the burden of one’s karmic debts … when a positive event happens in one’s life there may still be remnants of bad karma that need to be paid off before success can happen. KMB is a way to smooth this experience. This blessing is good when getting married, being accepted to a new job, and other such events.
So they’re saying whatever happens to you, good or bad, buy these “blessings”.
How generous of the angels to bestow upon believers gifts requring a $250 “donation” before they may or may not send their karmic blessings.
In the 28 March 2020 teleseminer, Hartnett says 15 KMBs were needed for a friend’s cancer. That’s $3750 total. I am sure the rank and file CMA members in similiar situations are encouraged to buy buy buy likewise. He didn’t mention if the KMBs had any effect however.
A key recurring theme in MJD’s teaching is “don’t think, just be”. I.e. don’t ask questions, don’t have doubts, instead have faith to accept his knowledge as given to you.
“Let yourself go down the road of accumulating divine truth, to quash your human negativity, your naturally doubting offensive mental capabilities, your belittling and the ego and everything like that. Just allow one divine truth to keep giving you that sweet bliss.”
But the biggest conceit hidden in plain site are the boilerplate legal disclaimers on almost every piece of content they produce. It’s all over masterangels.org, their social media posts, newsletters and every item of audio/video they produce:
“Please keep in mind, we are not doctors or medical professionals. We are a diverse international congregation focused on Spiritual Development. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or illness. We do not represent or warrant that any particular product or service is safe, appropriate or effective for you. If you have any health concerns, we strongly suggest consulting a qualified healthcare professional for diagnosis and treatment options.”

I’m not a legal expert but these disclaimers seem designed not for karmic mitigation but rather more earthly mitigation of CMA’s legal exposure if a purchaser takes issue their expensive non-purchase didn’t cure their cancer. CMA’s defence would be “You agreed to the disclaimer, we’re not to blame.”
No doubt any complainant would be discouraged from attending future workshops due to massive bad karma created from their negativity, or perhaps instead recommended to purchase a large number of SFRs and KMBs to cancel out their bad experience, if they’re gullible enough.
Graduates of the $10,000 Elite Development Course are a key part of CMA’s spiritual advancement structure. Really it is the Elites that can be considered the ‘members’ of the Church, the ones who have fully bought in to MJD’s teachings and way of life. No longer will you need to merely believe MJD, you can know the proof of MJD. We are told there are 400+ Elites. The supposed benefits that elevate you above the laity include:
Remote scanning ability of matter and energies
Special revelations for rapid remodelling of sensory pathways
Secret commands to work with the Masters for self-healing and assistance
Skills to kill viruses
Proof of God
A special lanyard
Yes you read that correctly, “Proof of God”.
“Our group and my elites have seen proof of God”
30 October 2020 teleseminar
All that and a lanyard too!
Application for the Elite course includes some curious dietary guidelines like “no pork, no shellfish”.
By attending this 4 day course you too can begin to acquire superpowers MJD has, like detecting frequencies of bacteria and toxins in your food.
And this is merely the first stage of Elite. But not all are accepted. If your karmic balance isn’t right and are rejected you’re told to spend time (and therefore money) on “further development of maybe one more year of using the advanced techniques and being present on the tours”, continuing purchasing tools such as Prismatic Awareness then reapplying:
Just one more year and then you’ll be happy.
Hartnett mentions in 28 March 2020 teleseminar an attendee who afterwards “decided they were gonna sell this. They signed things that said they wouldn’t … it made us all feel bad. It’s not the way this knowledge is meant to be used.”
I’ve always felt a sure sign you’re in a cult is if you’re made to sign legal forms declaring not to share what you’ve learned. A sure sign the organisation are more interested in controlling access than spreading goodwill.
Did Jesus hand out non-disclosure agreement forms after his sermons and ‘miracles’? I imagine yes if Hartnett was one of his apostles:
“I’ve got some big plans for you Jesus, let’s take this thing global…”
A major question is why are no tours ever scheduled outside the USA? Not even for MJD’s home of Australia have CMA organized a single event.
In 2020 when his tours moved online and MJD became restricted like everyone else from travelling due to COVID-19 restrictions, why not do a virtual teleseminar tour outside USA? But the only tour dates are USA:
Why is there no information for non-USA residents? As I mentioned above, I have doubts he’s actually done anything outside USA ever. Remember, CMA claim to be a global organization. It’s false like everything related to MJD, aided by Hartnett.
I speculate if MJD is banned from working in Australia. Or chooses not to for tax reasons. Assuming he actually does live in Australia as claimed: there is no evidence he does. What are the rules for faith-healers and miracle workers around the world, I wonder.
Hartnett in particular is obsessed with all things “global” but he’s never gone global.
“Global Repair” is a new project from CMA started July 2020. A weekly YouTube stream of a pre-recorded MJD “guided meditation for love and healing” which includes a “Cosmic Infusion Blessing directly from the Master Angels”. The video played out is the same every broadcast but promoted as live.
This project is clearly in response to COVID-19 i.e. implying this mass meditation can heal the planet from the virus without explicity stating it. “Help universal love go viral” CMA declared. It didn’t go viral.
Thanks for reading to the end of this post. Subsequent posts will be less wide-ranging and focus on specific aspects of CMA/MJD. As best I can, I want to write about the completely fictional core beliefs and things I’ve discovered. I want to shine a light on those in the Church who create and encourage those beliefs.
I am not an easily persuaded person. I ask questions. I want to know the origin of things. I am the exact opposite of someone CMA would want to recruit.
I hope followers of MJD will ask questions about what they’re told and take some time to think about him as an outsider might. Ponder why he doesn’t want you to think with your rational brain.
